    Pinto Bean Soup

Anyone have a good recipe? Want to try something different while I'm snowed in tomorrow.

Soak them tonight in beef broth and cook them slow with onions garlic pepper and ox tails or pig tails.
The latter is some serious fine eatin with pinto beans.

Don't know about 'soup'. I soak them like normal. Then add a link or two of sliced up smoked sausage, can of Mexican Rotel and Bolners Fiesta brand pinto bean seasoning per instructions. Let cook for a good 4+ hours.

I have used this recipe several times and very easy and pretty good. I cook them in a dutch oven with the lid off on my BGE

    1 large onion, coarsly chopped
    2 medium tomatoes, coarsly chopped
4 serrano peppers, finely chopped (w/seeds)
    1 cup cilantro, finely chopped
    2 cups "Clamato" juice
2 large cans Bush's pinto beans
    6 strips of bacon
    1 Tbs oil (or lard)

Cook onion in hot oil (lard) until just getting soft. Add bacon.
When bacon just starts to brown, add beans and all remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil and simmer 45 minutes.

I'm a food lover & also love soup. But the facing problem to keep my soup in warm for a long time. Recently, I've bought a soup warmer from here. I'm satisfied to use this.
