I am not a democrat. I have no political affiliation. However some of the small towns are shitholes. No sugar coating it.
LOL! Agree there are some. I'm ready to shoot some ducks. Drove 150 miles last weekend and saw very few waterfowl.
Pond I drive by on the way to work has had 200 on it for about 10 days. It's across the road from my land, but it's trust land so I can't hunt it. I got a spot picked out for this weekend.
Did alot of diving today and only two ponds with waterfowl. Hopefully cold coming will push some in for next weekend.
I got to shoot at 2 flocks of gwt. THen on the walk out busted a covey of quail and shot a couple of them. Gonna be a real short SE zone this year. We will be frozen by next weekend Found thousands of birds last night. Gonna go hunt them this afternoon. Lots of mallards already here.
Birds didn't cooperate. Ended with one drake mallard. Kicked 100 off and they didn't return. Watched what appeared to be a feeding flight fly up the river. We will be locked up tight by next weekend. May hit the river, or possibly geese if they make it down here. Lows in the teens don't bode well for ponds and marshes.
Yeah the watershed I hunt could be locked up shortly. Usually I can keep it open for awhile if the season is open but this might be tuff. Will have to move to a couple of private river spots I've got. I like the river better anyway. Not sure why other than I like how they float down through the trees.
