Tonsils adenoids and tubes in his ears. He has had trouble breathing since he was small and gets sick a lot. They think this will take care of everything.

They gave him the versed a 15 minutes ago. He is pretty funny right now.

Best thing I did for my oldest. She snored like a train, was always dragging, getting strep and sinus infections, 200% improvement since. She was very upset for 12 hours after, next day like nothing happened, third day she was in a ton of pain and didn't leave the couch for 48 hrs.

They told us the hardest part will keeping him down. They want him a couch potato for a week.

His primary doctor couldn't figure this out and 5 minutes with an ENT he had it. Told us we probably didn't even need to go to the allergist. Had so much fluid behind his ear drum he failed the hearing test. This should help his speech as well.

Try real hard to keep him hydrated even though he might not want to drink cause it hurts. Our son had this done at 3 and got dehydrated and we got a nice trip to children's hospital. Surgery went well. He turns eight tomorrow and has hardly been sick since then. Life changer for sure.

I'll tell with the tonsils, day 1 and 2 you'll think piece of cake. Day 3-7 is gonna suck bad. Hate to see the little guys go through it but it will help a ton

Good luck for the little guy. When you get back home and he is still loopy from the surgery and sleeping, keep a close eye on him. Our daughter had a small surgery when she was about 4 and we tucked her in our bed afterward and went downstairs to eat or something. We heard a thump and crying, she had got up in the bed then fell out of it onto the floor. We got to go back down to the drs office and have her checked out again. What fun!

Poor little guy. He will heal up quick. It looks like the surgery was a success, I'm glad it was.
