Dane,
It's still an investment of some sort, right?
I couldn't help myself, I won't be young forever and I want to win some races. Got the equipment now to do so.

how fast that thing go?
On the 3/8 mile track we race at we've been shot with radar at around 98mph. That's with "tack" (moisture) in the track. That's on a straight away that's probably less than a 1/4 mile long.
I'd say average speed on the 1/4 mile tracks is 65-75mph down the straights. When there's 20 guys all around you fighting for the same patch of dirt you're on, it gets down right fun. Until someone screws up, a chance you take.
That's what they look like with the body on. I got the car outta Kansas.
There's a good video of what it's like, that's that car with the guy I got it from driving.

Whatever you paid for the car will feel like buying 1 used tire if you race even a half a season. Friend in Kilgore used to do that. He also sold his.
google blue waffle
I've had to race to one of those portacans before. There are no winners in that one.

You gonna put 36 on it?
You racing in Austin area only or will you race in the Houston area?
You only live once and you don't have any ankle biters. Enjoy it.
Absolutely. That was my old car. That number has been on a car driven by either my Dad or I since I was 9.
We race all over, we have been all the way to New Mexico. They shut Gator Motorplex down there in Willis but I'd like to maybe race 105 Speedway maybe, it's somewhere up there in North Houston.

3 turns and a half wedge, add 2.6 psi to the inside. Whatever that is supposed to mean.
Hey man congrats of the money sucking fun machine. I hope that you kick ass in it. An old Navy bud of mine owns an open wheel team up in Pa. They are running two cars this season. Love me some Outlaws.
