Our season doesn’t start til July 1, but we’ve got one hell of a population in the pond by the house. Me and the little guy are gonna get us a mess of them.

Would LOVE to kill frogs like that again !! That was our summer time deal in SEMO 35 years ago. Every drainage ditch was full of big frogs. Herbicide and pesticide run off took care of the frogs and the hundreds of muskrats that we'd trap come winter.

Believe it or not, but every mud hole in West Texas used to be covered in them as well. I dont think any river otters got em out there. No idea what got em. Neat to see a pile of them again.

I'll see one or two on rare occassions. Never thought about tryin' to catch 'em.
