New Pond
East.jpgWest.jpg
We are just starting to work on a new pond. Put in a new dam that had been torn out by the last land owner. We had a excavator come in late fall and move some dirt. It's about 4 foot deep right. About 50 yards wide and 200 yards long. We will come in and work the edges and maybe plant some rye on the berms. It borders 160 acres of CRP land so it should hatch some birds in the spring. Probably be used more as a roost or loafing pond versus a feeding spot for birds.

Good luck with that project. I am not a expert but i seen a lot of work for one excavator. I mean, if you are hurry, you can rent another one and finish earlier
