Instead of buying a new truck I am trying to squeak out as much performance from my current motor as I can. Can you expect to see performance gains with a cold air intake? And lastly, are they worth the money and time to install?
Put several on a few sports cars, but no experience with trucks. I got on average about 10-15% more HP, and about same on torque. Dyno'd both cars.
Wansn't cheap, but HP usually isn't . For the money we spend on cars, I felt it was worth it.
Added exhaust, gears, and other mods as well.
What is it.
If diesel yes, you will get more out of a chip

Both. Intake and tuning.
Make sure you get a programer for a vehicle w a CAI too.
yes, I agree. you have to improve both tuning and intake to see some gains in your vehicle. have you managed to put on upgrade parts for your ride?
